LSU Defeats Clemson 42-25 In National Championship, Burrow Sets Record

New Orleans, LA –

The LSU Tigers defeated the Clemson Tigers, 42-25 tonight in New Orleans. LSU is now the number one team in the country.

Starting with two first quarter touchdowns from each team, LSU and Clemson proved early why they were the last teams standing. It was an eye catcher for football fans across the world as the game hosted two of the country’s best Quarterbacks, Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence.

Both of those first quarter touchdowns were because of them.

LSU pulled ahead by 11 going into the second half but Clemson’s high-powered offense was never in doubt. After a quick third quarter touchdown, Clemson fought their way back and was down 25-28. These would be their final points scored, however.

Joe Burrow and LSU would put two more touchdowns on the board, solidifying their championship victory.

Burrow went 31-49 and tossed 5 TDs on 463 yards and made history on several fronts, last night. Across the field, Trevor Lawrence didn’t play as well as we were used to, but he did go 18-37 for 234 yards.
