Cory Booker On Ending Campaign: “There was no longer a path to victory.”

Washington, DC –

Sen. Cory Booker has ended his presidential campaign after not qualifying for tomorrow’s debate.

Booker never really seemed to deliver during his campaign, quickly losing momentum along the way. Though he seemed to disappear in recent weeks, I still believe that he will continue his pursuit for the White House in the future.

When discussing the end of his presidential campaign Booker shared, “it was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I always said I wouldn’t continue if there was no longer a path to victory.”

Booker did not qualify for the Iowa democratic debate and needs more financial support to keep up his campaign. “Our campaign has reached the point where we need more money to scale up and continue building a campaign that can win — money we don’t have, and money that is harder to raise because I won’t be on the next debate stage and because the urgent business of impeachment will rightly be keeping me in Washington,” Booker wrote.

With a looming impeachment happening right now, I imagine that Senator Corey Booker will be busy in no time.
