Washington, DC –
You’ve got to love the internet. It can be our greatest tool or our biggest downfall. I found another video of Kobe Bryant that is worth every bit of data.
Popular behavior change platform Thrive Global released an interview with Kobe Bryant. In the interview, Bryant shared his passions for mediation and sleep. With Kobe being the superhero that most people my age thought he was, imagining him sleep is a foreign idea.
He’s done everything from winning world championships to being a husband and father of great stature. You can’t help but think to yourself, “does Kobe sleep?”
Truth is, in the early years of his career he didn’t sleep much. He would get 4 hours of sleep and then wake back up for his pursuit of global basketball dominance. It wasn’t until he had a terrible game that it made him wonder how his sleep habits affected him.
It was then that he decided to make changes and sleep more. He also began to meditate, a decision that was inspired by Phil Jackson.
