NEW YORK, NY –
J. Cole and Puma have announced a multi-year partnership.
The deal was announced Thursday (Feb.13) after Cole shared the information on Twitter. “Been imagining this for 10 years. It’s time. @PUMA The DREAMER,” Cole wrote. Along with the Tweet, he shared a 5 minute video to introduce the partnership. A short film co-directed by Cole will also air during the 2020 All Star game on TNT this Sunday (Feb. 16).
Puma’s Global Director of Branding and Marketing, Adam Petrick describes the intersection between Cole and Puma.
“Our partnership with Cole is deep-rooted,” Petrick said. “Cole’s involved in product creation, marketing campaigns and cultural guidance. He is going to be a key player in many of the things we do at PUMA moving forward and we’re excited to work with him not only on a product level but even more importantly as one of our athletes. Cole sits at the intersection of music and sport and represents everything that PUMA stands for as a brand.”
We’re looking forward to see the full reveal on Sunday. Cole’s first Puma project will be ‘The SkyDreamer’. According to the press release, it’s the first of many. The SkyDreamer is on sale for $130.
