Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” Leads Billboard Hot 100 For Seventh Straight Week

BALTIMORE, MD –

Roddy Ricch has still got gas in his single ‘The Box’. It’s the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh straight week.

Ricch has been having quite the last few months. After the release of his debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, his notoriety is sky rocketing. Thankfully, the West Coast emcee has some bars to match the praise.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, after registering 52.2 million streams , ‘The Box’ is still the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100. Going into the eighth week of charting,  it doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.  It is definitely a moment of celebration for Roddy’s label Atlantic Records. This is their seventh no.1 song to rule the charts.

Interesting. I wonder what magic they’ve worked out. Or, did they just pick the right acts?

Nonetheless, congratulations to Roddy Ricch for his accomplishments. Really excited to continue to see his growth and I’m eager to see where we land. I said it last year and I’ll say it again, Roddy is going to help elevate the rap game.
