MEMPHIS, TN –
Rapper Young Dolph returned to his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. He visited his high school and donated $25K.
Dolph posted the news on Instagram with a picture of administrators holding a big check. It looks like he brought some joy to his old stomping ground, Hamilton High School. “Made a promise to myself a long time ago that if i make it out the hood I would always give back to my old high school,” Dolph shared on Instagram.
According to Memphis CBS affiliate WREG, the funds will be used for sports equipment and supplies. It’s always dope to see these artists grow into millionaires and reach back to pull others up. I legit smile every time we get a story like this because I believe that doing good is contagious.
Cheers to more good deeds in the industry. Kudos, Dolph.
