WASHINGTON, DC –
Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake has hit the charts heavy. 14 of the top 20 songs on Billboard belong to Uzi.
Per Rolling Stone, “Baby Pluto,” had 33 million streams and debuted at the top spot. “Lo Mein,” debuted at three and had more than 28 million streams. “Silly Watch,” debuted at four with 26.6 million streams.
Rolling Stone top 100 charts use streaming data and record sales to organize the nation’s top songs. For weeks, the charts were dominated by Uzi’s label-mate, Roddy Ricch. His run was amazing as well. Only time will tell is Uzi will have the same fate.
While I have yet to dive into his project, Uzi has certainly given his fans something to cheer about. Social media has been buzzing about his album release. To be honest, it’s slightly refreshing to see artistry get rewarded. Although I haven’t heard the project, I can attest to Uzi’s artistry. I imagine this project is worth the hype.
