BALTIMORE, MD –
Andrew Tucker and Keshawn Hopkins are arguably two of the best pass rushers in college football. They met their match against Tobias Brown and Florida.
It was a big game for Florida’s offensive line who is led by their 6’4, 300 pound tackle Tobias Brown. He racked up 3 pancake blocks including the main block on a 62-yard touchdown. Two top ten pass rushers Andrew Tucker and Keshawn Hopkins put up quite the fight but were unable to get a single sack between the two of them.
Tucker finished the game with 5 tackles. Hopkins had 4 tackles and a fumble recovery. The tandem has led the no. 10 Kansas State to strong first half of the season. Also, they each are slated to be drafted within the top 10 of the draft. Tucker could possibly go number one.
I guess that’s more of a testament to how good Tobias Brown is at tackle.
Florida is expected to rise in rankings as they prepare for the unranked UCF Knights. Kansas States takes this loss into a bye week.
Between the three users, each team could grab one of these talents in the draft. I know that with my Redskins, we’re probably going to be replacing Bryan Bulaga this off-season. He’s been signed for another year but it’s nothing permanent. Also, both D’aRon Payne and Johnathon Allen have turned down my contracts. If we lose one of them, KeShawn Hopkins is on my radar.
Scouting: KeShawn Hopkins 6’4 246LBS – EDGE Kansas State – #9 Overall
Tobias Brown 6’4 305LBS – T Florida – #21 Overall
