ATLANTA, GA –
Lecrae is thinking about the homeless during this tough time. He’s helping to install portable hand washing stations for the homeless in Atlanta.
COVID-19 has us all germaphobes. We’ve become a species who washes their hands all the time and refrains from hand shakes. It’s tough time for the entire human race. But, Lecrae is thinking about the homeless. According to WSB-TB2 Atlanta, he has partnered up with the non-profit ‘Love Beyond Walls’ to install hand washing stations for the homeless.
“When the pandemic hit, I thought, ‘What is the homeless community doing about these warnings,’” Lecrae explained. “We spent a good amount of time putting them around Hurt Park. It’s a major city and in a major city, like this, it speaks very loud. The love is loud, appreciation is loud, but the problems are loud as well. The city has shown me so much love, so I wanted to be sure to show it back.”
It’s beautiful witnessing humility in motion. Thank you, Crae.
